Policies & Ordering

I live in a country other than the US. How do I order?
Email us (info@dreadeddragon.net) and let us know what you'd like. Shipping rates are different overseas, and we like to keep our prices as accurate as possible. Once you let us know your address and your order, we will send you a paypal invoice letting you know the final cost. DO NOT USE THE PAYPAL BUTTONS ON THE SITE! Your payment will be refunded.

I don't have a paypal account, how can I purchase falls?
Right now we only accept paypal and, on occasion, postal money orders. If you don't have a paypal account and you'd like to sign up for one, go here (www.paypal.com) to sign up. If you must use a money order, please email for more information.

I don't see exactly what I want on your site. Does that mean you don't make it?
Absolutely not! We at Dreaded Dragon can make pretty much anything your heart desires. Email us and describe your vision, and we'll do our best to make it a reality for you.

I paid for my falls with paypal. How long will it be before I receive them?
Our general turnaround time is 2 weeks for straight & curl falls, and a month for dreads and braids. Once your payment is received, you will receive an email with a general quote time as to how long your falls will be in development. Payment with money order is delayed until the money order is received and cashed.

Help! I need falls and I need them now!
We do have rush processing available. Standard rush costs 20% of the hair piece, and cuts the wait down by approximately half. If you need them sooner, email us and we can work something out.

Do you take returns?
According to health laws, no hair product is returnable. If you are unhappy with your hairpiece, please let us know and we will do our best to keep you a satisfied customer. Please order with care however, because no refunds or returns are allowed.

What type of shipping do you use?
All of my items are shipped in the US with priority mail, complete with delivery confirmation and insurance. After the parcel leaves Dreaded Dragon, we are no longer responsible for it. This is why the confirmation and insurance numbers are provided to you. Outside of the US, packages are shipped global priority mail.

Hair Use

How do I attach my new ponyfalls?
10 steps to putting in ponyfalls
You will need - hair brush, cloth covered elastics (ponytail holders), bobby pins, Dreaded Dragon cover braids, and hair gel. Directions are for a pair. If you have only one, just put all your hair together instead of making ponytails.

  1. Get your hair in two high ponytails (think 1980s style) towards the back of your head.
  2. If you have shorter hair, or your hair flies out of ponytails, gel it down into the tail, and put some gel into the ponytail part as well.
  3. Grab all the hair in the ponytail, and twist it towards your head until it starts to curl. Wrap it in a bun and secure with another hair band. The object is to make the bun as flat as possible.
  4. If you want your hair to look more like one big fall as opposed to two individual falls (this works better with dreads), grab another hair band, and make a figure 8 around the two buns, holding them together.
  5. Take the elastic and tie it around the bun. Pin in place. We suggest tying at the bottom of the bun, so more of the hair falls from the top.
  6. Use bobby pins to secure the elastic into the base of your bun.
  7. Flip the fall over (your bun should now be hidden), and pin around the elastic again, making sure the fall is secure. Add pins as necessary on top to hide your bun.
  8. Repeat on the other side of your head.
  9. Take your Dreaded Dragon braid cover and pin it to your head at the back, near the elastic join of the fall. Hold your ponyfall up, and wrap the braid around the base tightly. This gives it support and lift, as well as hiding the base of the fall. Pin the other end in place, and secure the braid at various points with more pins.
  10. Finish getting ready and go out with brand new hair!

I have some great pictures in your hair! What can I do with them?
Send them to us and they might appear on our gallery page! We only take pictures that feature Dreaded Dragon hair, so please don't try to pass someone else's product off as ours. As an added bonus, if you send up your picture and it's featured, you'll receive free shipping on your next order!

Hair Care

Silky falls/Wavy falls
Comb through hair before and after each wearing with a wide toothed comb. Start at the ends and work your way up to the elastic carefully removing knots that may accumulate. All hair is conditioned with wig spray before shipping, making the tangles easier to remove. Wig spray is available at most wig shops, and is an affordable way of making your falls last longer. Store silky falls in the bag they come in to keep them looking nice between wearings. Spray with febreze to remove club or smokey smells, you can occasionally hand wash them with a gentle shampoo. Don't wash them while they are still wet, as hair will break. Hang dry.

Eternal Youth curls
Keep these either in the bag they come in, or hanging up somewhere they won't be disturbed much (i.e. on a hanger or wall hook). Finger comb through the curls as needed, never brush. To remove club or smoke smells, spray with febreze. Do not wash curls.

Braids
Braids can be stored pretty much anywhere, though you might want to keep the ends from sticking to other places on the braid. They can be sprayed with febreze or washed, but only hang dried.

Backcombed & Cyber dreads
Best stored either flat in a drawer or hanging. Dreads can be sprayed with febreze or washed, hang dry only.

Stick dreads
Do not wash stick dreads! They are sealed with water only and will unravel if they come in contact with liquid. Light spritzing with febreze only is ok for these falls, but the more you saturate them, the better chance they have of unraveling. Store them either in the bag they come in, or hanging.
